Same Question for Manager’s Interview:
Thank you for this opportunity. I’m a confident, results-driven, commercially focused, and strategically aware manager with the skills, qualities, and experience to help drive forward your business. I have experience leading and managing small and large teams, and highlights of my career to date include turning around an underperforming team, and I was praised by the senior management team in my last position for delivering excellent results for the company. Question #3: What are your weaknesses?
Answer:
My weaknesses are Public Speaking and saying YES to people. I’m not yet confident in public speaking, but this is a skill I would like to develop. If there are any opportunities in this role for me to give talks or presentations to my team, I would like to try it.
My second weaknesses, saying YES to people is because I don’t like to let people down. If people ask me for help or take on extra work, I automatically say YES which sometimes means I overcommit. However, I’m trying to be more mindful of the need to assess my capacity for extra work before committing.

Question #4: What are your salary expectations?
Answer:
I researched the salary range for a top-performing employee in this role and industry before applying. The range is between 18,000usd to 23,000usd. While I believe I’m worth 23,000usd. I understand I must prove to you my worth. On that basis, I would be comfortable with a salary of 21,000usd and the agreement to have my salary reviewed annually based on my performance. For 21,000usd, I will ensure you see a great return on your investment.

My research tells me the going salary range for this position is between 50,000usd to 62,000usd. I’m my last role, I was paid the higher range of the salary because I was contributed new ideas during team meetings, went above and beyond in my duties and helped train new team members when I joined the organization. I also stayed behind late after work whenever required to assist in the completion of urgent tasks and projects. I will do the same and more in this role and in return, I would like a salary of 59,000usd plus also the opportunity to have my salary reviewed annually based on my performance and my contribution to the team.

Answer:
My greatest strengths are Problem solving, Embracing change, and Commercial awareness. I always takes ownership of difficult problems instead of leaving them for other people deal with. I need to improve my leadership skills. I’ve not formally led on a project yet, but this is definitely something I want to experience in the future. I also need to improve my knowledge and understanding of artificial intelligence to access how it can help me to deliver better outcomes for my employer. However, I don’t believe my lack of experience in either of these areas will hinder my performance in this role.

My friends would describe me as friendly, driven, positive, loyal and trustworthy. They will also describe me as someone they could turn to for help and advice in times of need.

I don’t tend to get angry often. However, if I do, its because I’ve made a mistake or I am frustrated with dishonest people. For example, I remember feeling slightly annoying with a supplier in my last job who had promised to deliver some goods to our company on a specific day, but they never turned up. This situation had a negative effect on our loyal customers who had placed orders. However, I decided to turn my frustration into positive action and I started looking for a new supplier that could provide a better service at a more competitive price.
